My training:

“Ziva David” my 16y.o. GSD/Malamute/X (no it’s not coyote, but we don’t know what the hell that X is for, 2 DNA tests later) affectionally named after the Tel Aviv operative in the show NCIS (iykyk) she was my first Service Dog, and is living out her retirement here, with her little brother.
Though she no longer works in public, she cuddles at home perfectly and for over 7 years was a 911 Call Center Therapy Dog for Bell County Communications Center. She also visited children’s schools to educate about safe dog interactions, Service K9s etc!

About my dogs:

Ziva David

“Dante Allen” is my 5y.o. Belgian Malinois that also visits the 911 Call Centers, though his main job is being my Multi-purpose Service Dog. He loves traveling different states, countries and beaches.
He’s down for anything that involves a good frisbee, bouncy ball or cooling lake.
He is my shadow and at every consult/training lesson as a demo dog and serves as “Uncle” or “Cousin” Dante to about 30+ different dogs and puppies.
He was carefully chosen out of 140 potential puppies and was one of the last dogs to be imported across the border the night COVID shut down the States. He is trained in 3 languages and loves his dad!

Dante Allen

I started dog training on a personal level, with my first German Shepherd “Jazzy”. I rescued a dog from a neighbor that was being mistreated, and him being a Husky/GSD he was definitely a lot different in mentality and what worked with Jazzy, didn’t work with “King”.
From there I focused more on behavior-based training and learning how the dog’s brain actually worked and not just motivating my dog with her prized possession: the b-a-l-l.

After briefly working for a large box store, I quickly realized it wasn’t for me due to (mis)treatment of animals and lack of flexibility in what I could offer clients. Eventually I branched off on my own, moving to Belton from Waco. I continued training for over 10 years, and have successfully boarded, conducted daycare for, and trained easily over 1,000s of dogs (and even small animals, too such as ferrets, hamsters, cats etc.!)

Though Jazzy and King have both passed, I will never forget how crucial they were to my success as a dog trainer, pet parent, and growth as a person over all.
I love my job, I love connecting with people that love their dogs like I do, and I love helping people that want more out of their dog!
(Sometimes we “just need them to stop jumping, chewing, barking at, humping, destroying everything” and I’m here for that, too.)

About how I started:

My dogs are a huge part of my identity. And I’m not ashamed of it!
I travel countries with them, hike, swim, kayak, ride my horse with them, and position my life around them as much as possible. They get front-seat privileges on occasion and have their own pillow on my bed.
I fully believe in “doing more with your dog” but don’t penalize anyone that can’t do the same.
If you joke “I gave birth to my dog” you’re in the right place.
If you threaten to “sell your dog to the Amish for a potato chip” every other hour..
..Well, you’re still in the right place.

Whether you hunt with, swim with, bed rot, couch potato with etc. let’s connect and get started.
